Late Arrival Policy:
All appointments will conclude at the scheduled end time in order to stay on schedule. Clients who arrive late to their scheduled appointment will still be charged for the full session which will conclude at the scheduled time. Please arrive 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment time to allow time to undress and prepare for a relaxed and unhurried experience.
Cancellation & No Show Policy:
We require at least a 24 hour notice to cancel an appointment. Clients who cancel an appointment with less than a 24 hour notice or who do not show up for a scheduled appointment will be billed 100% of the price of the scheduled service.
We understand that emergencies and illnesses can arise, therefore last- minute cancellations due to things such as verifiable emergencies, illnesses or inclement weather will generally not result in any missed session charges (at the practitioner's discretion).

1) e-cards, available online. Purchase here.
2) Physical gift cards. Purchase in person at your next session or email to

*Please be aware that gift cards do expire one (1) year from purchase date.

Before your initial appointment, you'll receive an automated email confirming the details and prompting you to complete a new client assessment. (Please have this intake filled out prior to your scheduled appt.) Upon arrival, we'll review your assessment and discuss your session goals. I'll then explain how to prepare before stepping out to let you get comfortable.
At the end of the session, I'll step out again so you can get dressed. Once ready, you'll meet me outside the room to process payment (if not already completed), book your next appt, and suggest any relevant self-care techniques.

1) Avoid eating right before your session, if possible. Especially, heavy foods.
2) Arrive on time, so you’re not feeling rushed and you can relax more easily.
3) Focus on breathing normally and relaxing your muscles during the massage.
4) Communicate with me! Any goals for your session, issues you may have, allergies, comfort level or any other concerns.
5) Drink an extra amount of water after your massage to flush out toxins.
6) Schedule follow up visits to stay feeling great.

Arriving 5-10 minutes before your appointment provides time to use the restroom, discuss your session goals, and get comfortable on the massage table. If you arrive late, you'll receive the remaining time of your scheduled massage.
Please arrive no more than 10 minutes early. I need the time between sessions to clean and flip the room, respond to messages, and occasionally have lunch.

If you need to reschedule your appt, you can go into your MassageBook profile and reschedule for a different day/time that works for you.

Of course not! Your comfort is the most important aspect of any massage. Some clients choose to undress fully, while others prefer to wear underwear or shorts. I'm flexible and can work with whatever makes you comfortable.
Regardless of what you wear, you will be covered with a blanket for modesty and warmth during the massage. Even if modesty or warmth isn't a concern for you, draping is required by the NC Board of Massage and Bodywork Therapy, and breasts and genitals must remain covered.

It's completely up to you! I'll take my cues from you. If you initiate a conversation, I'll be happy to chat. If you prefer silence, I'll respect that too. Many people tend to doze off; I take no offense, if anything it’s a huge compliment!
At the start of your massage, I'll check in to make sure you're comfortable on the table, and I may occasionally ask about the pressure or request you to adjust positions.
This is your time, so you decide.

I set my rates for ease and transparency, for both you and me. There is no reason to leave an additional tip, but if you insist on leaving extra money, I can’t stop you.
However, if you do insist on leaving something extra, referrals will always be the best way to show your gratitude.

Clients under the age of 18 must fill out a minor consent form completed by their parent or guardian. Please email me for the form.
Any minor under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian during the whole massage session.

The frequency of your massages depends on your level of pain, how your body responds to massage therapy, and your budget. On average, most people get a massage about once a month. Some choose to come more often, while others opt for less frequent sessions. I can help you determine the best schedule for your needs.
